I'm thinking about adding a new game tab called "Research". Based on your buildings and units you will be able to spend turns researching for little gadgets. Alone these gadgets do nothing, but they can be combined. Once combined you can create power-ups or better gadgets. Maybe some kind of mini-game will be run during the creation process.

Probably next weekend I'll implement this new tab with game version 1.1.0. The research tab will be called "Lab" and will allow for the creation of 2 new unit types, along with other "artifact like" special combos!

The new tab has been added! I finally decided to call it "Laboratory", and it is where you can spend turns on making supplies. Stockpile as much of them as you like. After they are made it doesn’t cost you anything to combine them in various ways. Check the common recipe list (you can expand the list by clicking the arrow icon) for some simple combinations.
Once you have enough power and you’ve specialized your laboratory research, look out for these new abilities/units:
*3 New Unit Types (Golem, Treant, and Wizard) *Summon Earthquake (devastate opponents more powerful then yourself) *Spy Infiltration (learn the exact defensive power of a target) *Bribery (pay off a player to gain 24 hour attack immunity) *Temporary Walls (boost defensive power)
